My work has been featured on various album covers, in music videos, and television appearances. My list of loyal clients includes: Ben Vereen, Floetry to India Arie, the Fugees, Lauryn Hill, pras, Wyclef, Michelle Williams of Destiny's Child, Deborah Cox, Toni Morrison, and Q-Tip, as well as renowned Hollywood stars Angela Bassett, Jada Pinkett-Smith and D.L. Hughley. Veronica Fletcher is basically a hair sorceress. She uses a comb as her wand and Aveda products as a magic potion and makes the Medusa looking mops turn into fabulosity. I am not stretching the truth, using poetic license to celebrate the celebrity hair stylist but just putting where it deserves to be put... boooyah there in your face.
I should know.
She save my poor soul when my head was ..... what's the word.... Struggling. And with a twist, twist here and a rub, rub there... my hair grew like it had never did before. I also made it the healthiest it had ever been (in all my life.)
She started my head, before Angela Bassett. I raved about her before Flowetry had Flow.
She did my hair way back in Harlem... in her bedroom... and now she is the Head Star!
Good for her... better yet... good for Hollywood.
She really is God's gift to Loc-kind.
So now here I am blogging for my sister. The woman who did my hair while I was in labor. The woman who made me gorgeous for my husband at the wedding from Hell. The woman who has been the creator of hairshop laughter for decades and the epitome basic flyness.
